Why there is a fee

It pays for the build itself

The monthly plan runs the site once it exists. The build fee covers the work of making it, done once, before launch.

    Addresses, hours and seasonal locations set up once, so each office can be found on its own.

  • The checklist and the intake form

    Your document checklists tidied into pages a client can follow, and an intake form wired to where inquiries land.

  • Moving your old site across

    What is worth keeping carried forward, and old page addresses redirected so saved links still arrive.

  • Speed, set before launch

    Every page tuned to the PageSpeed floor the plans promise before anyone outside the studio sees it.

The build fee is $797 on every plan. Choosing your plan only files the payment against the right account. The monthly price is billed separately and does not change.

How paying works

Three steps, and then done

    Press the button for your plan

    A secure Stripe checkout opens for one payment of the build fee. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch this site.

  2. 02

    A receipt by email

    Stripe emails the receipt straight away, and we send a short confirmation from the studio as well.

  3. 03

    Nothing recurring

    The build fee is paid once. Your monthly plan carries on exactly as it was, billed on its own date.

We build and manage the website. We are not a tax preparation, tax resolution or accounting firm.

Is this a subscription?

No. The build fee is one payment of $797, taken once. Nothing on this page sets up a repeating charge. Your monthly plan is a separate subscription and is not changed by paying it.

Do I need to pay a build fee?

Only if we have told you one is due. The build fee is invoiced after your site is live and you have approved it, and plans started on or before 31 December 2026 have it waived, so most current clients never pay it. If you are not sure, email hello@taxfirmwebstudio.com before paying.

Why is the amount the same on every plan?

Because the build is the same work on every plan: the return-type pages, the office pages, the checklist, the intake form, the move from your old site and the speed work. What differs between plans is the monthly service afterwards, so that is where the price differs.

Is it safe to pay by card here?

Yes. The button opens a checkout hosted by Stripe, a card payment provider, over an encrypted connection. Your card number is entered on Stripe and is never seen or stored by this site or by us.

Can the build fee be refunded?

No. All sales are final, and that includes the build fee, which is only invoiced after you have approved your site. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge made by our billing: tell us within 30 days and we correct it within 10 working days.
